THE ERGONOMICS OF PROPER POSTURE Ergonomics is a field dealing with man's adaptation to the milieu in which he lives. Given that this milieu in which man lives is Everything, ergonomics deals with Everything. In this site I deal only with those areas of ergonomy having to do with the architecture of industrial objets, or what is commonly known as "design." The area of design of hand-made objects can also be considered from an ergonomic point of vue. Such objects can be produced by man or by other animals: the nest is a non-industrial object produced by certain species of animal. It is a sort of reorganization of materials in a way that seems appropriate to them.
